How to Search for Organisations

There are five different ways search the database. Each will bring up the name and basic contact details of the matching organisation(s). You can then click on the name(s) to get more detailed information.

You can go directly to any of these routes from almost any part of the website by clicking on one of the links on the left.

Name Search
Use this if you already know the name of an organisation (or part of its name). For example, a search for 'Yorkshire' would return 'Yorkshire Centre For Eating Disorders', among other results.
Details Search
Use this if you don't know the name of the organisation, but do know something about it - for example, part of the address.
Keyword Search
Use this if you want to find organisations that work on a particular aspect of mental health (e.g. addiction, manic depression), or with a particular group of people (e.g. Jewish, Young People). You can choose more than one keyword by using the power search.
Alphabetical Search
Lists all organisations by the first letter of their official name.
Power search
Allows you to search for organisations on several pieces of information at once. For example, 'all organisation in Leeds that provide counselling for young people'.
