24 hour service, 365 days. Between 10pm and 9am a two-person on-call system operates.

Service details:

Aims to facilitate an early discharge and provide a good package of care once at home, during the acute phase of a person's illness. The service aims to provide home based treatment for people who would otherwise need hospital admission. Professional referral is necessary via the Community Mental Health Teams, Consultant Psychiatrists or Wards 35 or 37 staff at St James's Hospital. Service is for 16-65 year olds in South Leeds, postal areas LS10, LS11, LS25-27, BD11, WF3 & WF10.
