Advises and supports missing people and those who are left behind. Runs three nation-wide Freefone telephone Helplines manned 24 hours a day, and provides a variety of other services relating to missing persons. Missing Persons Helpline - core helpline of the charity, offering support, help and advice to families and friends of missing persons. Message Home Helpline - allows those who have left home to send a message to their family or carer, to seek confidential advice, and if necessary to be helped to a place of safety, which can reduce a caller's time of vulnerability. Runaway Helpline - support and advice to young runaways (under 18); callers can leave a message for us to pass on to a relative, social worker or carer and can request help and advice.
