There are 6 different ways to search the database. Each will bring up the name and basic contact details of the matching organisation(s), linked to further details.
- Quick pages
- Lists all organisations under headings chosen by IMH.
- Keyword Search
- Use this if you want to find organisations that work on a particular aspect of mental health (e.g. addiction, manic depression), or with a particular group of people (e.g. Jewish, Young People). You can choose more than one keyword by using the advanced search.
- Name Search
- Use this if you already know the name of an organisation (or part of its name). For example, a search for 'Yorkshire' would return 'Yorkshire Centre For Eating Disorders', among other results
- Advanced search
- Allows you to search for organisations on several pieces of information at once. For example, 'all organisation in Leeds that provide counselling for young people'.
- Details Search
- Use this if you don't know the name of the organisation, but do know something about it - for example, part of the address.
- Alphabetical Search
- Lists all organisations by the first letter of their official name.
